Jennifer H. Matthewson is a writer, photographer, and entrepreneur based in the Pacific Northwest.

She is the founder, editor, and lead contributor at Daily Blender, an international digital publication launched in 2008 covering food & wine, travel, and arts & culture. Content includes travel features on destinations across the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Canada, and the Caribbean; coverage of special events like the James Beard Foundation Awards, Aspen Food & Wine Classic, New York City/South Beach Wine & Food Festivals, Cayman Cookout, Hawai’i Food & Wine Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, and Maui Film Festival; and exclusive profiles on Anthony Bourdain, Steven Soderbergh, Nichelle Nichols, Christopher Moore, Stefan Frei, Roy Choi, Stephanie Izard, and many others.
